It is with great pleasure we can now offer this new and much needed servce to all members of the public.
Originally set up in September 2014 solely for the the purpose of helping out disabled and clients with health issues the aftercare service take the pressure out of moving. All our staff are not only trained to the highest standard, but are supportive, friendly and helpful.

Having moved thousands of customers since 1976 both locally, nationally and worldwide, we are more than aware that when moving house no two moves are the same, and all customers have different needs.
We have designed a complete removal service package of which the aftercare service can be part of this. Whilst a lot of our customers just entrust us with moving all their household goods, others have further needs and requirements. We have put together an aftercare service which is second to none. This service is designed mostly for the elderly, disabled, working families and customers with high work commitments.
Most removal companies class aftercare as giving phone calls to their customers and basically asking did everything go ok with the move etc some time after moving them. We got that extra step, and its proving to be extremely popular.
What is our aftercare service?
We assign to our customers if needed their own personal Removal assistant(s) that stay with our customer throughout their move. The removal assistant will turn up on the day of moving or packing and helps the customer all through the move and beyond. Their duties will compromise of many things from taking meter readings, phoning up different companies like the water board, electric board, gas board etc and helping with all those things that need changing when moving.
They carry a check list and will work with you to ensure that all changes get made promptly and correctly. From informing your doctors of your new moving address to dealing with estate agents and chasing up the progress of the move, to making you a cup of coffee – it is their job to support you through this time.
On the day of moving the personal removal assistant will liaison with the removal men on your behalf to ensure everything gets put in the right rooms, start unpacking for you into where you want your goods going, make the beds and generally do whatever needs doing. In most cases they will return the following day to finish off the rest of the unpacking and do those awkward jobs for you from simple moving around furniture to hanging pictures on the wall where you want them going. Their job is finished once you are happy with everything and are settled with the basic amenities in place.
This is what makes Newton’s Removals truly unique. Customer care is our number one priority – we are fully aware that some people can struggle just doing basic tasks during moving and not everyone has family that can help out when needed especially during working days.
